"I was first licensed in 1965 during high school. My interest led me to spend many years in the 2-way radio field, as well as Commercial Broadcasting. A few of my other interests are, aviation, music (I play several insturments) photography, travel, etc...The little woman wanted to do some travel, so we sold the sticks and bricks in Prineville Oregon and were traveling fulltime in the coach, untill her passing. My home base is Newport Oregon when not on the road. I currently operate the HF bands with SSB, CW, and various digital modes with the Yaesu FT-991 in the coach, and Yaesu FT-891 in the mobile. I spent many years building Repeaters, and although currently do not own any, I hope to in the future. Ham Radio has been rewarding and educational, and I look forward to many years of enjoyment."
